The Apartment

The Location
Sliema is Malta's most beloved coastal neighbourhood, and Sunnylodging puts you right in the middle of it. Balluta Bay Beach is just a few minutes' walk away. Exiles Beach is just over a kilometre. The Sliema Promenade – one of the longest and most scenic waterfront walks in the Mediterranean – is on your doorstep.
The Sliema–Valletta ferry is within walking distance, making Malta's historic capital effortlessly accessible in under 15 minutes by water. Bay Street Shopping Complex is a short journey away. Restaurants, cafés, bakeries, supermarkets, and pharmacies are all within a 5-minute walk.
Bus connections from Sliema reach every corner of Malta, including the airport (approximately 30–40 minutes by bus, or 20 minutes by taxi).

By Bolt or Uber (recommended)
The easiest and most stress-free option. As soon as you exit the arrivals hall at Malta International Airport, walk past the official taxi rank and head to the car park directly opposite the terminal – this is where Bolt and Uber drivers wait for app bookings. Signs will guide you. The ride to the apartment takes approximately 20 minutes and costs around €10–14, making it significantly cheaper than an official airport taxi. Simply enter our address: 32 Triq Sant'Enriku, Sliema.
By official airport taxi
Official white taxis are available immediately outside the arrivals hall. The fixed fare to Sliema is approximately €20–25. You can pre-pay at the kiosks inside the arrivals hall before exiting.
By public bus (budget option)
The TD3 Airport Direct bus runs every 30 minutes directly from the airport to Sliema and St Julian's. It is equipped with comfortable seats, USB charging ports, free WiFi and luggage space. The fare is €3 per person, payable by cash or contactless card on board. Tickets and travel cards are available at the Malta Public Transport kiosk in the Welcomers' Hall inside the arrivals terminal, directly opposite the arrivals gate. The bus terminus is just outside the arrivals hall – follow the signs for TD3.
If you plan to use the bus frequently during your stay, the 7-day Explore Card (€25 for adults) offers unlimited travel and excellent value.
Get off at the Mrabat stop in Sliema – the apartment is a 2-minute walk from there. From the stop, turn onto Triq Sant'Enriku – number 32 is 150 metres along the street.
By rental car
Renting a car is a great way to explore Malta at your own pace – the island is small and easy to navigate. Note that in Malta, traffic drives on the left. The drive from the airport to the apartment takes approximately 20 minutes.
Parking near the apartment is on-street and free of charge in the white-lined bays on surrounding streets. There is no dedicated parking space with the apartment. Finding a spot is usually straightforward, though it may occasionally take a few extra minutes – this is normal for central Sliema. We recommend arriving with some patience and checking the side streets nearby.
